Organizations interested in securing grants from the Valley Foundation are
now able to easily inquire, apply for and, if a grant is made, track grants
online. The Valley Foundation’s online grant-lifecycle manager eases
the application workload applying-organizations, enabling streamlined communications with The Foundation prior to and during the grant lifecycle.

The Foundation Board meets and reviews introductions, applications
and grants quarterly. Initial introductions are submitted online using the Introduction & Inquiry form located on this site. If the organization’s Inquiry
& Introduction is of-interest to The Foundation, the Board will invite a
full application.

First, an Introduction & Inquiry

  • Online form with automated copy of your Introduction & Inquiry form (this is commonly referred to as the LOI stage)

If accepted, a full-proposal will be invited and will include...

  • Grant agreement forms
  • General organization information
  • Percentage of medical-related services your organization provides to benefit lower-income households

The decision process may or may not require a site visit where...

  • 1 or more of the Foundation’s Directors and its administrator
  • Organization’s Executive Director and 1 or more Directors are required to be present during the visit

Then the Foundation's Quarterly Board meeting where...

  • The full Board reviewa grant applications
  • Decides which organizations will receive grants

If awarded, the grant lifecycle begins...

  • Approval and disbursement of funds
  • Ongoing progress reports using online grant-lifecycle system
  • If matching/challenge grant is awarded, the required reports and funds are to be collected before matching funds are awarded
