For almost 30 years, the Valley Foundation has sought to improve the quality of life for the residents of Santa Clara County. The years have shown us how providing funds to community partners positively impacts the lives of those in our community which in turn benefits the overall health of our community.
The nature of Silicon Valley is one of change and innovation. We strongly believe the time is right for increasing healthy, sustainable operations by engaging volunteers and collaborating among non-profit service agencies.
Charitable activities are at a crossroads, and the Foundation sees new opportunities for innovation and change. Given the economic circumstances our region and nation currently face, The Valley Foundation looks to foster innovation and change with our non-profit partners to achieve sustainable operations and meet the needs of the residents of our Valley who need it the most.
A sustainable volunteer base means that service organizations can increase their reach and impact, while more of the Foundation's funds go directly to the beneficiaries of these organizations. Healthy collaboration means our Valley's non-profit service agencies help each other to help our community.
Fostering volunteerism and collaboration increases the engagement of the residents of our community and engagement of agencies with each other. An engaged community is a healthy community. |
