The Valley Foundation seeks to
improve the quality of life for the residents of Santa Clara County.
With this as our mission, we provide funding for non-profit organizations based within the georgaphical boundaries of the county.

The Valley Foundation uses its resources to enhance the quality of life for Santa Clara County residents through judicious grant making. We believe critical community needs can be met through the proper application of funds, answered with a forthright expression of community commitment.

GUIDELINES

  • Benefits qualified, tax-exempt charitable organizations
  • Funds efforts within Santa Clara County
  • Funds non-repetitive purposes, rather than on-going support or deficit reduction
  • And challenge/catalyst grants to encourage additional fundraising are preferred

TYPICAL APPLICATION PROCESS

INTRODUCTION & INQUIRY DEADLINES

  • An Introduction & Inquiry must be submitted 1-week prior to the Foundation's quarterly board meetings. Inquiry submission deadlines for 2010 are listed below:
  • Friday March 5 (for March board meeting)
  • Friday May 28 (for June board meeting)
  • Friday August 27 (for September board meeting)
  • Friday November 26 (for December board meeting)
